The Sudoku Prank

Do you have someone in your clique who is smarter than everyone else? Then it's time for an intelligence test that won't be forgotten. A Sudoku intelligence test in which you decide in advance who scores how well.

Of course this intelligence test is unfair, it's a prank. But it's a prank in which nobody understands that you have complete control.

The prank works because it is possible to design Sudokus in which the first fields are very easy to solve, but which then suddenly become so difficult after a fixed number of solved fields that nobody can solve the Sudoku any further. If you organise a Sudoku solving competition in which you rate the number of solved fields, you can determine in advance exactly who gets how many points, regardless of how good someone really is at Sudoku.

These different Sudoku puzzles must look almost identical so that nobody suspects anything. You simply say that you are giving out equivalent Sudokus that are slightly different so that nobody copies someone else's solution. Of course this is a lie, these Sudokus are not equivalent.
